Dear PSL,

We are thankful that our community is as vibrant as ever. Just recently, the Philadelphia startup ecosystem ranked #1 in the U.S. (#8 in the world) on Startup Genome's 2020 Top 100 Emerging Ecosystems. This means that our unique startup culture is impacting the economy in a meaningful way, and the world (including investors and policymakers) is taking notice. We are proud to have eyes on Philadelphia and look forward to continuing to climb as we support Philly founders.

The application round for this Fall's Founded in Philly accelerator has come to a close, and near 100 startups applied! It is incredible to see just who is driving growth for our city and we look forward to telling their stories later on.

In the meantime, we are actively seeking passionate leaders to mentor selected startups during the program and beyond. The role of a mentor is to provide encouragement, help facilitate progress, and guide founders where they need it most.
