PSL envisions Philadelphia to be a place where everyone can achieve their entrepreneurial potential as part of a collaborative and innovative startup community. A vision that we work towards each and every day in our efforts to support all entrepreneurs building and scaling businesses.

 

PSL's mission and vision led to the creation of Founded in Philly's idea-stage accelerator, where received support from the City of Philadelphia's Venture Program and provided grants to participants for the first-time ever. 

 

The City's funding was a great start, but potential budget cuts could mean this is the first and last time we offer grants to new tech entrepreneurs. In an email to PSL's CEO/Founders group, our Executive Director outlined ways the community can show support during this time.

 

The result? We are at half a million dollars in commitments to help make our grant initiative long-term and sustainable. Don't worry, we're still going to be known for our events, and education and networking, but it's been a dream of ours to help put dollars directly in the hands of new startups.
