To answer this query, we thought it best to share Isabelle's words from LinkedIn:
"Do not talk yourself out of an opportunity to build your early-stage vision into a reality. You don't need an elite MBA or a long career in business to solve problems. In fact, most of our founders are solving for problems they have lived experience in and are guided through growth by our accomplished speakers and mentors.
Beth & I (in fact, much of the PSL team) comes from a service industry background. None of us have business degrees. Someone gave us chances to land jobs in the startup industry, where we learned from mentors, our networks, and in practice before starting our own businesses and helping successful startups scale.
This opportunity IS for YOU. The skills you need to start a startup can and will be learned. But that vision, mission, and passion comes from somewhere deeper. We need founders like you to change the world of business from a small, exclusive club to a mosaic of the best ideas and solutions, and of leaders that lead the way they want to be led.
